Little Wood Aussies began with a love for all dogs and especially Australian Shepherds. I grew up on a ranch and have had a dog, one kind or another, all my life. I can’t remember a time when I haven’t had a dog by my side.
After a grooming career and becoming familiar with all breeds, I most enjoyed the small, toy and mini aussies for cuddling and companionship. They are an intelligent, resilient, energetic, and a loveable breed.
Currently I work in a nursing home and the patients love the visits of their furry friends.

Dam: “Oakley” is an ASDR small Miniature Blue Merle. She is 15″ tall. 14″ or less at shoulder is considered toy. She is out of Champion Bloodlines. Ch 2 ABA SSN Key West Cowboy.
Oakley was our first mini Aussie and is a great mom. She loves to be with her people and is a cuddler. She loves to dig in the dirt, swim in the pond, and get in a good chase of cats or livestock (whichever is available).
Oakley is genetically clear by parentage.
Sire: “Woody” is an ASDR small Toy Red Tri. He is 11″ at the shoulder and weighs ten pounds. He is also out of Champion Bloodlines, sire is EChG Lindseys Sweet Tater Pie.
Even though Woody is the smallest dog on the farm, he is top dog in his own mind. He likes to run with the big dogs but always comes running back to mom for her loving. He is a big hit at the local nursing home where he makes regular visits to all his fans. Woody is a heart-breaker/dream-maker/love-taker kind of dog.
Woody is genetically clear by parentage, MDR1 carrier only.
